If you’re serious about improving your game and learning the fundamentals of basketball you won’t want to miss this camp! From individual instruction from an experienced coaching staff to competitive games, this camp is designed to enhance your skill level whether you are a beginner or a varsity level player.
Campers will stay in our Parker House facility and will commute each day to Limerick Chapel. Limerick Chapel has a beautiful indoor gym with quality wood floors and basketball equipment. There is also a brand new outdoor court with eight baskets.
Although this is a program of Camp Sankanac, it is a specialty camp and will have a different schedule from our regular programs. The Parker House, where the campers will stay, is separate from the regular camp. This basketball-focused program will offer some free time in the afternoon where campers can visit the Trading Post (our camp store), swim, use the boats, and a variety of other activities at Camp Sankanac.

Mr. Dave’s Bio
Basketball Camp will be directed by Sankanac staffer, Dave Stallard. As a student at Baptist Bible College, Dave was a two-time all American and scored over 1000 points in his college career. BBC’s team record Dave’s senior year was 24-6 and they won the NCCAAII East Regional Championship. They went to the NCCAAII National Championship and lost at the buzzer with a close finish. In the NEAC they finished 2nd place in the regular season.
Just out of college, Dave was offered a position on a professional basketball team in Germany but gave up the opportunity to follow the Lord’s leading by moving here to Camp Sankanac in 2007.
Dave and his wife, Brielle (Sankanac office manager/registrar) have been serving the Lord at Camp Sankanac since 2007. Dave is really looking forward to camp and hopes that many of the guys he’s played ball with on the Sankanac court will come out for camp!
There is a $100.00 non-refundable deposit due with your registration (whether you register by mail or online). The remaining balance of $320.00 is due no later than 2 weeks prior to encampment. We do recommend bringing $20-$30 for our Trading Post. Spending money is deposited into the camp store and anything that is not spent is refunded to you in cash at the end of the week.
Registration and camper drop off is from 1-3:00pm on Sunday. Pick up is from 8:15-9:15am the following Saturday.
